Job summary

The University of Oklahoma is seeking a Student Library Assistant for the Ruby Grant Fine Arts Library, which serves as the neighborhood library for the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. You will be the first point of contact for patrons, receive training on library policies, and gain experience with databases and patron services.

Responsibilities include assisting at the circulation desk, answering questions about resources, checking materials in and out, and sorting items.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma for Fall 2026 term.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Responsibilities

• Interact with the public at the circulation desk.
• Answer questions related to resources and media.
• Check out and check in materials; retrieve and sort materials.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to include evenings and/or weekends.
