Job summary

The BASE Site Manager at The Y in Central Maryland oversees all on-site operations for 30+ participants, ensuring safe, engaging activities and effective communication with school administration, staff, and parents.

You will implement the monthly curriculum, supervise site staff, participate in community activities, and ensure compliance with OCC regulations to support a high-quality after-school program.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience supervising a school age program.
• 3 semester hours/45 clock hours in School Age Curriculum.
• 3 semester hours/45 clock hours in Growth and Development.
• 3 hours ADA training.
• 6 hours Medication Administration training.
• Emergency Preparedness training.
• 9 hours in Communication training.
• 800 hours experience with school age children or 1-year family provider experience.
• Annual continuing education as per OCC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations of the BASE program for 30+ participants.
• Ensure safety, risk management, and quality standards across curriculum and activities.
• Attend school and community events to promote enrollment and engagement.
• Lead staff meetings and trainings; supervise site aides and teachers.
• Maintain compliance with OCC regulations and Y policies.
• Drive enrollment and maintain site capacity; engage families through monthly activities.
• Coordinate with school administration, parents, and volunteers; manage program communications.
