Job summary

Ymca Of Central Maryland, Inc. is seeking a Youth Specialist for the Before & After School Enrichment program to help facilitate activities that foster character and well-being for school‑aged children.

You will contribute to the Y movement by ensuring children's safety and engaging families, teachers and staff, while working flexible hours across multiple locations from 7am to 6pm. This role emphasizes patience, good humor and clear communication to support children, parents and guardians

Qualifications

• An interest in the well-being of school age children, enthusiasm, patience, good humor, good judgment and a good spirit
• The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children parents/guardians, members, school administration and other Y associates
• The ability to be flexible and work at multiple locations
• The ability to work between the hours of 7am-6pm
• The ability to work up to morning or afternoon shifts
