Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy per physician orders. The role includes consulting on therapy effectiveness and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

GIG/shift-based positions offer day/night flexibility with no weekend or holiday requirements, and wage opportunities include $30/hr for CRT and $35/hr for RRT with variable incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Hold the RRT or CRT credential awarded by NBRC; PALS is required for ER; ACLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
