Job summary

Mercy is seeking Respiratory Therapists for flexible GIG roles in our care teams. This position offers day or night shifts with no weekend requirements and a base rate of $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, with additional shift incentives.

W-2 employment provides benefits and stability within Mercy's supportive environment. Performs direct patient care per physician orders and collaborates with physicians and nurses to assess therapy effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• NBRC credential: RRT or CRT; PALS and ACLS where required.
• Minimum of one year of experience (excluding orientation).
• Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
• Perform duties as assigned.
