Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a flexible RRT/CRT gig. The role involves directing patient care per physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.

You can choose day or night shifts with no weekend, holiday, or fixed shift requirements. Base rates are $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, with variable shift incentives and 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shift options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC credential: RRT or CRT; ACLS required.
• PALS required for ER.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
