Job summary

Avardis Health in Valley View is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for residents in a compassionate setting. You will collaborate with physicians, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to care plans and regulations.

The role demands strong clinical skills, effective communication, and dedication to patient-centered care in a fast-paced long-term care environment. Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication for patient-centered care.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per individualized care plans.
• Supervise staff and oversee patient care per standards and regulations.
• Oversee CNAs during shifts, assign work, train staff, ensure quality care.
• Monitor residents, assess symptoms, administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for resident outcomes.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Educate residents and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation compliant with regulations.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
