Avardis Health is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead and mentor nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and uphold compliance with care plans and facility policies. The role emphasizes staff development, supervision, and hands-on clinical leadership.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, 3+ years of nursing experience (preferably in long-term care), and at least 1 year in nurse administration.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing).
• At least 1 year of nursing administration experience.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
• Weekend availability with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and quality resident care.
• Assist in staff development and ongoing education.
• Provide direct resident care following individualized care plans.
• Conduct and document resident assessments on admission and during stay.
• Assist in treatment planning while ensuring compliance with policies and rights.
• Recruit and retain nursing talent for the team.
• Address resident and family concerns with professional resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement within the management team.
