Job summary

Stepful, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Instructor to guide practical nursing students through in-person clinical rotations in the Toledo, Ohio area.

This 1099 contract role involves supervising students at our partner facility on Fridays (and occasional Saturdays) from 6am–6pm, with travel support if needed. You’ll deliver curriculum content, provide feedback, and serve as a nursing education SME, collaborating with faculty and external partners to help students achieve licensure and practice

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as faculty in an RN or LPN education program.
2+ years of professional experience as a Registered Nurse, with 5+ years of varied nursing experience across clinical practice, nursing education, and/or administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license
Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise in-person clinical rotations at partner healthcare facilities in the Toledo, Ohio area (mainly on Fridays, occasional Saturdays)
Deliver curriculum content, answer student questions, and provide timely feedback
Act as a subject matter expert in practical nursing education
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students
