Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a School Psychologist to support students aged 3–21 in a district near Providence, RI. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules through June 2027.

Responsibilities include evaluations, eligibility determinations, IEP development, counseling, behavioral support, and collaboration with teachers, families and administrators. Requirements include a Masters/Doctoral in School Psychology and RI certification (RIDE 5403); compensation ranges from $45.50 to $65.50 per hour

Qualifications

• Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403).
• Experience or significant interest working with students ages 3–21.
• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving school environments and student populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and psychological assessments for students aged 3–21.
• Lead eligibility determinations and develop IEPs.
• Provide counseling and behavioral support to diverse learners.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators and specialists.
• Monitor progress, participate in crisis response and data collection as needed.
