Biltmore is seeking a Retail Receiving Associate to support the Retail Fulfillment Center. The role focuses on safety, accuracy, and productivity while handling shipments and logging receipts. A positive attitude and strong teamwork are essential.

The position requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, with a starting pay of $17.09/hour and part-time hours (roughly 20-29 hours per week, 1000-1559 hours per year). forklift training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse and/or retail preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts). Forklift training provided.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments from local vendors and couriers.
• Safely unload shipments using hand tools or forklift.
• Verify counts against documentation and note discrepancies.
• Inspect shipments for exterior damage upon arrival.
• Log receipts accurately in system.
• Match POs and invoices; move product for processing.
• Coordinate with leadership on priority orders.
• Prepare Return to Vendor items for shipment.
• Communicate with other retail areas and departments.
• Interact professionally with visitors and drivers.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Log and receive items for other departments when needed.
