Job summary

Meijer is hiring entry-level team members in Michigan to support store operations and customer service. You’ll gain exposure to various retail tasks, from cart duties to department coordination, with opportunities for growth as part of a large Midwest retailer.

Qualifications

• Must be organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
