Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support store operations across various departments. You will gain exposure to a range of retail tasks related to services provided by our store, product and customer service.

The role includes interacting with customers and helping maintain a clean, safe store environment. Qualified candidates are highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinate and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Performs basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
