Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors to provide retail merchandising, audits, and installation services. The role offers flexible scheduling with project-based pay across a variety of retailers and brands.

Typical projects range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, staying active, and delivering high‑quality retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.
• Submit project completion reports and photos the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
