Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, self-managed schedules and project-based pay, with opportunities to service major retailers and brands nationwide.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service early in the month. Ideal for self-motivated professionals seeking supplemental income and independence in retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets or audits preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile tech for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued products and update materials as needed.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and well-presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports with photos on the same day services are performed.
