Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based work across multiple retailers with pay per project and DailyPay enrollment options.

Assignments typically require 12–20 hours per month, with tasks including merchandising, resets, stock, audits, and display maintenance. You’ll travel between locations, report results via mobile devices, and select projects matching your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and approved.
• Submit reports and photos using a mobile device on the same day as work performed.
