Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based work across major retailers, with 12–20 hours per month typical.

You’ll execute merchandising tasks, update reports via mobile devices, and travel between store locations as needed. Ideal applicants are self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to follow planograms, and comfortable reporting on the same day.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
