Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. Work on projects ranging from merchandising to stock resets with flexible hours and project-based pay.

Assignments typically run 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work during the first two weeks of each month. You will travel between retail sites, report via mobile device, and choose projects that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising/retail experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting
• Active email address for project communication
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos the same day they are performed

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as needed
• Complete required reporting with photos and project documentation via mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day of service
