Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work shopping among major retailers and brands across the United States.

You will review project instructions, execute merchandising tasks, and report outcomes using a mobile device. Typical projects range from 12–20 hours per month, with opportunities to service multiple retailers.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising, resets, audits or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work style.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple assignments independently.
• Effective communication and problem-solving when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, and display maintenance.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day.
