Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, self-directed work servicing major retailers with project windows rather than fixed schedules.

Typical assignments include merchandising, product resets, inventory audits, display maintenance, and reporting via mobile devices. Projects average 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
