Job summary

SFS is a leading provider of retail merchandising services seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with service windows rather than fixed schedules across major retailers.

Assignments typically range from 12–20 hours per month and may include merchandising, resets, audits, display maintenance, and POS installations. Travel between locations is common, with reporting via a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or related retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
