Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors by adding experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands, with windows rather than fixed schedules and the opportunity to earn supplemental income on a per-project basis.

You will review project instructions, perform merchandising tasks, resets, inventory counts, and reporting from a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
