Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands across the country.

Assignments are typically 12–20 hours per month with varying service windows. You’ll review project instructions, execute merchandising tasks, and report progress via mobile devices, selecting projects that fit your availability and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related fields.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project reports and photos using a mobile device.
• Complete reports on the same day services are performed.
