Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. This flexible, project-based role is ideal for self-motivated professionals looking to supplement income.

Assignments vary from merchandising, resets, audits, stocking, and displays, with typical projects 12-20 hours per month. You control your schedule by choosing projects and service windows that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
