Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join a nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work across multiple retailers, with typical projects ranging from 12–20 hours per month.

You will perform merchandising tasks, resets, inventory counts, and reporting using a mobile device, traveling between locations as needed. Ideal candidates have prior merchandising or retail support experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail support, audit, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
