Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers a flexible schedule with project-based pay and the opportunity to service major retailers and brands across the country.

Assignments may include merchandising, resets, inventory audits, display maintenance, and POP installations, averaging 12–20 hours per month with some windows requiring early month service.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
