Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide contractor network and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. This role offers flexible, project-based work with autonomous scheduling and the potential to service multiple clients.

Projects typically range from 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and photos.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
