Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands, with 12–20 hours per month on typical projects.

You’ll review client instructions, perform planogram-driven merchandising, resets, inventory counts, and reporting via a mobile device. Travel to various retailer locations and report completion on the same day.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, or auditing preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient with mobile reporting and photos.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
