Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work across various retailers and brands, with service windows rather than fixed schedules.

Typical projects range from 12–20 hours per month, and you will perform merchandising, resets, inventory, and reporting using a mobile device. Travel between locations is required as projects arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be physically able.
• Reliable transport to multiple locations.
• Strong communication and reporting via mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
