Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide independent contractor network and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. Earn flexible, supplemental income by servicing major retailers. Projects range 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

Work windows are set by clients, not fixed schedules. Ideal candidates read and follow planograms, perform resets and stock displays, and report progress via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Smartphone/tablet reporting and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut‑ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
