Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based opportunities servicing major retailers and brands across the United States.

Projects vary from 12–20 hours per month with some locations needing service in the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to read planograms, and comfortable reporting via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between retail locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication and reporting.
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos the same day.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects per client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
