Job summary

SFS is hiring experienced Retail Merchandisers to join a nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands with windows rather than fixed schedules.

Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, including merchandising, resets, audits, and stock maintenance. You’ll work independently, travel between locations, and report via mobile devices with DailyPay options available.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Able to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise per planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day work is performed.
