Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with projects across major retailers and brands.

Typical work involves merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance, requiring 12–20 hours per month in many cases. Contractors enjoy set-your-own-schedule flexibility, the chance to service multiple retailers, and project-based pay.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and executing planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects per client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotions installations.
• Remove discontinued products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning.
• Stock and organize merchandise following planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean and well-presented.
• Travel between locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
