Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is a flexible, project-based role offering the opportunity to service major retailers and brands.

You will review project instructions, execute merchandising tasks, and report progress using a mobile device. Assignments are typically 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work in the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits or customer service is preferred.
• Able to read and execute planograms and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently across multiple assignments.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using mobile tech for reporting and documentation.
• Available to work during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting and project documentation using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day work is performed.
