Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide contractor network. Project-based work includes merchandising, resets, audits, and display maintenance across multiple retailers. Typical projects are 12–20 hours per month with some windows in the first two weeks of each month.

You will review instructions, execute client requirements, and report results via mobile devices. Independent, self-motivated individuals with reliable transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail settings preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and presented as intended.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos, on a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day work is performed.
