Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based work with typical projects ranging from 12–20 hours per month, across various retailers and brands.

You will review client expectations, perform merchandising tasks, stock, and report results using a mobile device, traveling between locations as needed. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with access

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits or customer service preferred.
• Able to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports with photos on the same day services are performed.
