Job summary

SFS is growing and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, supplemental income with service windows at major retailers.

Assignments include merchandising, product resets, audits, display maintenance, stock, and reporting via mobile devices; projects typically 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring work in the first two weeks of each month. Travel between locations is common.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
