Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. The role offers a flexible, supplemental income with opportunities to service major retailers and brands across the United States.

You will work on merchandising, resets, audits, and related tasks, with typical projects ranging from 12-20 hours per month and occasional requirements during the first two weeks of each month.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime windows.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
