Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• AMA-approved respiratory care program completion.
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by NBRC.
• Idaho Licensure as Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and NRP within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
• Administer and document medications per departmental policies.
• Deliver Cardiopulmonary Care Services per Policies and Procedures.
• Precept employees, new hires, and students.
• Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiate corrective interventions as needed.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.
