Ardent Health Services seeks a Night shift Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) for Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho. You will provide cardiopulmonary care, administer medications, and precept team members.

You will work with the medical staff to ensure safe, effective patient care in a role that supports respiratory health across the facility. The position requires completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program, NBRC certification, Idaho licensure, and current BLS with ACLS/NRP

Formación

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the American Medical Association.
• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Idaho Licensed Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS and NRP within six months of hire and maintain them as current.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct a program of treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system in a safe and therapeutically effective manner.
• Administer and document medication in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Correctly administer Cardiopulmonary Care Services in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
• Precept employees, new orients, and students.
• Maintain awareness of environmental conditions and initiate corrective intervention as indicated.
• Maintain a professional relationship with the medical staff.

• Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital, and is home to the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
