Job summary

Advocates Darnell School in Hudson, MA is seeking a Relief Teacher Assistant to provide flexible classroom coverage and support. You will help implement IEP goals and behavior plans, collect progress data, and accompany students on community outings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Must successfully pass background checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, automobile insurance and access to a vehicle for transport.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals for students.
• Implement behavior support plans.
• Collect data for IEP goals using electronic or paper methods.
• Accompany and teach students in the community.
• Transport students in the community as needed.
• Attend weekly classroom staff meetings.
• Attend monthly school-wide trainings.
• Maintain required certifications (First Aid, CPR, Safety Care).
