Job summary

PCGH, Inc. is hiring Relief Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals to help cover open shifts in several programs in Person County, including Roxboro.

This is generally a part-time position, with hours not guaranteed. Starting pay is $12.00 to $15.00 per hour, based on experience and program or home assignment, and some shifts offer incentives or differentials. Onboarding and training are provided, and there may be opportunities to move into regular part-time or full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable attendance and follow-through on shifts.
• Flexibility to work at several nearby PCGH locations.
• Ability to learn routines and support needs of different individuals.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently once trained and comfortable in a program.
• Patience, responsibility, good judgment, respectful communication.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions preventing driving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills, personal care, meals, and household routines.
• Support medication and health-related needs as trained.
• Drive and accompany people to appointments and community events.
• Help individuals work toward goals identified in service plans.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow health, safety, behavioral, and emergency procedures.
• Communicate changes or concerns to staff and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
