Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions seeks a Rehabilitation Flex Team Member (Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide targeted services across skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
• Experience: 2–3 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license; CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal & written communication, active listening, and social/cultural perceptiveness.
• Relationship building, compassionate instruction, and genuine appreciation for individuality and diverse life experiences.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making.
• Time management and service orientation.
• Collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitative services to residents under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Evaluates living skills and capabilities to tailor treatment plans.
• Assists in activity selection and plan development to promote independence.
• Builds trust-based relationships with residents and families.
• Observes and records patient progress and adjusts plans as needed.
• Instructs residents and families on home programs and adaptive equipment.
• Performs routine tasks like stretching and using equipment.
• Uses lifts and pulleys to safely move residents.
• Documents patient care per procedures.
• Collaborates with the team to foster an inclusive culture.
