Job summary

Golden Steps ABA is hiring for an ABA therapist to conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with children and young adults in home or community settings. You will implement behavioral plans and participate in BCBA trainings, parent training, and team meetings. A background check is required; a driver's license and reliable car are necessary for client visits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication.
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients.
• Must possess a High School Degree.
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, paraprofessional, or daycare provider supports transition to RBT role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations, and parent training as needed.
• Enter data and track trials daily for each pediatric patient.
• Maintain open communication with the BCBA and RBT team members during delivery of treatment.
