Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support clients in one-on-one and small-group sessions under BCBA guidance, delivering compassionate, family-centered care. You will collect and record behavioral data in Central Reach, maintain HIPAA-compliant privacy, and collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, caregivers, and schools to implement and adjust treatment plans.

A valid RBT certification is required; 6+ months ABA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18+ years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per BCBA treatment plan.
• Collect and record data on client behavior using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations.
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensure patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs.
