Job summary

Pillar Care Continuum is seeking a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to serve in a float capacity across designated residential programs in Northern and Central New Jersey. The RBT delivers direct ABA services to adults with IDD under BCBA supervision and supports staff across multiple sites.

The role requires flexibility in schedule and travel, a current RBT certification, and a high school diploma (associate/bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• Active and current RBT certification (required).
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with adults with IDD preferred.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and skill acquisition programming.
• Deliver 1:1 and group-based ABA interventions.
• Support individuals in developing adaptive, communication, and independent living skills.
• Assist with behavior reduction strategies using positive behavior supports.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies as trained and approved by the agency.
