Job summary

Florence Hand Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation in LaGrange, Georgia seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive team under a PT. The PTA provides treatment, assists with referrals, and handles documentation and daily progress notes with PT co-signature.

Qualifications

• Graduate with BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state license/registration as applicable.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment under the supervision of a PT.
• Identify suitable patients and refer them to rehab as needed.
• Document patient participation and progress with a co-signature from the PT.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges are obtained.
• Complete other documentation per state guidelines.
