Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a PT - Physical Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. Flexible schedule with full-time or prn positions available.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PT program, licensed in the state, CPR certified, and ready to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active state license in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and adjust PT treatment plans for patients.
• Assess and modify measurable goals.
• Oversee care by PTAs and Rehab Aides.
• Chart patient progress promptly.
• Use therapy software accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain safety and proper body mechanics.
