Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Ringgold, LA, is seeking a licensed PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Flexible, as-needed shifts with a competitive hourly rate based on experience support work–life balance.

You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care. Opportunities for growth and development are available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in speech therapy preferred (new grads welcome).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive-communication needs.
• Help patients improve function and overall quality of life.
• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
