Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Missouri seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our PRN team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering evidence-based therapy in a one-on-one setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri.
• Certification: CCC-SLP from ASHA (preferred).
• Experience: Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and patient-care skills.
• Certifications: CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
• Stay current with best practices and advances in speech-language pathology.
